How long does a mitigation program last?
Ecological mitigation programs run throughout the life of the project. The planting phase typically takes 1–2 years, but monitoring and reporting to authorities usually continues for 5 to 10 years.
Do you work with mangroves?
Yes, it is one of our specialties. We have restored mangrove areas on the Honduran coast with techniques adapted to the local ecosystem and survival monitoring.
Who certifies mitigation compliance?
Formal reports are filed with MiAmbiente, ICF (in forest zones) and the corresponding municipal association. ACQUA is the technical lead before the authorities.
Can you offset fauna impacts?
Yes — we design relocation plans, population monitoring and refuges for displaced fauna. Relocation requires specific expertise: mishandled fauna die or return to dangerous zones.
